Church wedding in the wonderful Yalding, Kent
Every wedding is different, and this one like any other was no exception. I had the pleasure of first meeting Sara and George quite close in normal terms to their wedding day back in October 2014 at their home in Maidstone.
Instantly I knew the style of wedding photography they were looking for was the kind I enjoyed most, and for a Doctor (Sara) and a Surgeon (George) they where two of the most laid back people you could ever wish to meet. Sara was infact everything you imagine the word doctor to mean, however as a surgeon George dealt mainly with trees!
This was to take nothing away for the couples achievements it is not easy to build a business in the current climate, and this couple had done this with the support of each other, And I can relate to this its the story of me also.
And I guess that’s what drew me to excepting them as clients wedding photography is a two way thing, and anyone that follows my work knows that this “relationship” is key in the work i create.
The morning preps
I think sometimes this is the most difficult time to have a photographer around, but its as big a part of the story as much of the rest of the day. I stay in the background and let this go on uninterrupted, experience let me spend most of the time clear of the action know when the photos that tell the story happen. Its not a time to take hundreds of photos, just those that tell the story!!
